Need to run away? Find a castle!

I’ve been working on the first section of the Castle, which brings with it its own challenges. While the village section needed so many different “wood” textures, now for the last few days my wife has said, “Whenever I look at your screen, all I see is bricks.” 🙂

All work in progress (some additional whiteness needed in certain parts, etc.), but enjoy!

    You have a wife – and CHOOSES to work with RE4 textures? x)
    Amazing work as always. Before, I noticed the uneven ground tiles in a section before the castle looked way different, but it seems you removed the pictures of those tiles, was that because you found a better replacement? 🙂

    Can’t wait to see what’s to come! 🙂

    impressive work like always but can we get to see some comparisons between the ultimate edition and your version ?

Thanks for the compliment and the question. 🙂 I’ve added a post to explain in a bit more detail why we do our comparisons using the Original Texture mode, and it includes some screenshots showing a comparison using the UHD HD Mode. I hope this helps you to understand the reasons for our approach.
