Hey, It’s That Dog!

My biggest challenge so far has been redoing the textures of organic / living creatures. This is why I’ve been delaying redoing Leon’s face or the Ganados – it’s harder to get something that looks good, has the right amount of realism, but also fits the original look of the game.

So, I started small by redoing the dog that helps you later in the village section. 🙂 Took me about 5 hours for this one – hopefully I’ll get better / faster over time. 🙂

    You’re doing an amazing job.
Is there any chance of you making a tutorial on making older games HD?

    • crisdecuba says:

Thanks! I think the only tutorial I would make for the time being would be on how to apply these textures to the game. But after this project is completed, perhaps. 🙂

    Looking good 🙂

Blue eyed dog? Looking good ^_^

    • crisdecuba says:

The original texture actually has a closeup of the dog’s eye that you don’t see in this model and the eye is blue, so I matched that color. 🙂

Please save us with your mod!! RE4HD on PC is killing me with it’s textures!! I’d be more than happy to even pay if I had a guarantee it will be completed!!!

Damn son, that shit looks fresh as fuck. Can’t wait to play the real ultimate version of RE 4 – my favourite game of all time.

This looks great!! If we donate more and more money, will this thing get faster done or? Hehe. GJ

    • crisdecuba says:

Hehe thanks! Donations will actually go toward the cost of the tablet and software I purchased for the project, the cost of paid texture resource websites, web hosting costs, and then finally if it ever gets to the point of covering all that, it’ll go toward paying off personal debt. 🙂
