I can’t see the slideshow here. Is it glitched?

    • albert says:

Yes, it seems something is wrong, but I don’t know what happened :/ that’s why I post that HD image link aswell

      • Cris Without H says:

        Ah, don’t worry, mate.
On a side note, environment is incredibly important, but I’m super excited for characters/enemies textures. I do think it will be a challenge, due to RE4’s specific style.

        • albert says:

I agree! I think the real challenge will come with the organic and bloody flesh textures

          • Cris Without H says:

Ah, yes. Unless you’d be willing to watch snuff movies, which I doubt, finding actually flesh and blood sources will be difficult. I assume looking at anatomical pictures will have to do.

I’ve corrected the slideshow glitch (not sure what the issue was – I simply re-uploaded the image for the slideshow).

Now that I can take a closer look at it… actually, what was remastered? I mean, I assumed it to be the door, but it still looks kinda low res.

These “Look familiar” posts are not progress updates. They are comparisons between original textures and their real-life counterpart.
          They are something like… “hey-I-found-the-original-thing-in-real-life” updates 😛

Here’s a real comparison of the door frame:

            Oh, I see ^^’

Although, I must say, I think the model on that one shouldn’t be changed. It sorta goes away from the in-game design.

          • albert says:

Well… I don’t know what to say. I just edit the model in order to fix those modeling/mapping isues you can see in the original. No other design edits were applied. To my eyes, the original looked distorted and poorly mapped

It looks ordinary to me. I dunno, it just doesn’t seem like something that denies physics or logic.
