So do you just walk around all day at those locations spinning your head in all directions until you find things that look familiar or is it a lot more complicated? It would be really cool if you showed us your process one of these days.
Yeah i agree would be Really interesting to see how he do it!
It’s exactly what you said first 🙂 I found by chance one door years ago (I think it was from Sevilla or Toledo) and I simply started looking around that place. Then I tried other Spain cities’ touristic places. The same with all Wales stuff.
It was all Internet research. And when I got a complete list (Barcelona, Madrid, Toledo, Segovia, Sevilla, Cardiff, Caerphilly, Raglan, Chepstow) I went by myself to all those destinations to obtain HD pitures. I also found more unexpected textures when I was physically in those locations of course.
That’s really cool and lucky I’d say. You should take us on a photo/video tour of you looking for more textures sometime, if that’s even possible at this point. I know I personally would find that interesting.
Any chance you could someday give us coordinates in Google Earth street view to view locations of some of the games textures?
I think it would be great as part of a post-project release to share an “re4 walking tour” of some sort with all the google maps coordinates. 🙂
Agreed.
Spectacular, as always.
I love the extra keyboard, now all that equipment makes much more sense.
Just one thing, though (and I should slap the back of my own neck -colleja a mà mismo- as well because I was the one rooting for a labeled Range Rover at the beginning of the game): shouldn’t you try to avoid using specific or very known trademarks, like the Mitsubishi one, and use a mockup placeholder instead, like, I don’t know, Tsubidubidu, or something like that, in order to avoid copyright issues?
I mean, copyright lawsuits and claims have become more and more common, and if there’s somethign that would hurt more than Capcom issuing a cease and desist letter, it would be a non related to Residet Evil trademark or manufacturer asking for you guys to take this down.
Hehe No worries! That’s in my list of pending work 😉
I edited some trademarks here and there but not all of them. They are very few and the size is at amicroscopic scale but we’ll remove them anyway.
Thank you!!
