Oh noooo! =O
haha =D
Oh YES!!! XD
wow can’t wait to see how awesome the castle looks when you guys get there.
if you guys made miracles with organic looking textures, I can’t imagine how much better the granite and marble walls are going to look like!
It all depends of the base material of course, but precisely because of the chaotic nature of organic textures all little imperfections are less obvious. In the other hand, the orthogonal and clean structure of architectonic elements force us to be cautious with every little detail!
uh? one would think is the other way around, but now that you mention it and knowing the awful limitations of the gamecube i can imagine capcom doing some weird stuff to squeeze a little more performance out o the machine, even if it means loosing some texture fidelity i guess. Any way, i have no doubt that you guys will make them look gorgeous xD good luck and thanks for the time and effort you guys are putting into the project
i am again 30 $ lightier 🙂
Thank you!! We really appreciate it and we hope all of you are enjoying this “creative journey” as much as we do 🙂
I never understood why this door had a blue tint. You will fix that right?
If you downloaded the demo then you noticed our hi-res version of the door had that blueish/purple colour in the bottom area. That’s because I edited the image to match with the original texture colours haha XD
I considered that colour some kind of artistic decision by Capcom. In fact, I really like that colour and that’s why I bother trying to get the same exact tone. I think it gives some kind of dark & gloomy feeling and personality to that door, too.
Hey, if Cris is on the U.S.A, who took this photo?
Ahem…
XD
We are 2 in this project. I’m in Spain ;P
But isn’t you on the photo?
Ahh! I didn’t understand the question. Yes, it’s me. A friend took the photo. 😉
